Final Weekend

Hi all,
We are close to the final weekend and I am very much looking forward to seeing you all finish the course.  I will update the exact schedule for the weekend when I see you Friday morning, but essentially Friday will be review and Saturday and Sunday will be testing with some other stuff thrown in.  We will definitely do Training a Sequence of Shots on Saturday and Sunday morning.  See you all Friday!

Games and other things...

Hi everyone,
If you could each make a list of the things you want me to post regarding the games we played or other things I showed you I can then get these out to you.  Many of the games I showed you were things that came to me as useful stuff that you might like to know and weren't preplanned.  I don't have a record of what I showed you.  Bring it this weekend and I will post once I know what you alkl want to see.

Cheers,
Andy

Summer Camp Brochure

Hey everyone,

I was just wondering about the 3 examples of summer camp brochures - do they necessarily have to be in a PDF format or can they just be copy and pasted into a document? Not very many websites offer the option of having a PDF or brochure available. Thanks.

Completing the MED

For those of you who still have to complete the MED you will need to go to www.coach.ca and look on the right side of the page.  There you will see a red banner that says "Make Ethical Decisions".  Click that and read the page.  At the bottom you will find the link to the actual evaluation.  On the next page near the bottom will be 2 links.  The one you want is the Competition - Introduction.  Click that and take the test.

Good luck!!

Nearly there....!

Hi everyone,
I was very impressed with how far you have all come since starting last regrouping.  Keep up the hard work and we will have one of the best CP1 courses that I have been involved with.  Make sure to get your wookbook(s) completed because you want to be able to dedicate all of your efforts to doing well on you revaluations.  I will post games and drills later.  In the meantime do me a favour and post comments to this post with specific things that you would like ot see.

Cheers,
Andy

Single elimination tournament/Round robin scorecard

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to see if anyone else came to the same conclusion when formulating the single elimination tournament draw sheet. According to the document, the second player drawn between the 7th and 8th seeds  is to be placed in the #46 position (p.262). However, can anyone confirm that this is a mistake since he should be placed in position #49? If we were to follow the documentation, the number 8 seed in my case would play the number 3 seed in the second round...

Secondly, I was curious as to how we are supposed to count the round robin scorecard. Personally, I am inclined to interpret the result between A and C for example as a win for player C, by a score of 8-3. In this manner, I read the results from the columns as the number of games won against another player (from the left column). I am a little confused by how it is stated in the manual at page 290.

Thanks and hope all is well!
